This website and the services available through it are operated by Punava (“Punava”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using this website, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Legal Notice, our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and other policies applicable to our Services.

1. About Punava

Punava provides upcycling and transformation services through which customers can give their existing textiles a new life.

Depending on the service selected, customers may send textiles such as jeans, sarees, bedsheets, shirts, jackets, or other eligible textile materials to Punava. We then transform these materials into selected products such as bags, quilts, accessories, or other upcycled creations.

Our Services may therefore involve:

Customer → Pickup by Delivery Partner → Punava → Upcycling & Customization → Delivery Partner → Customer

The final product is created from the textile received by Punava and may therefore vary in appearance, texture, color, pattern, construction, and other characteristics.

2. Customer-Provided Textiles

Where a service requires you to provide your own textile, you confirm that:

  • You have the right to provide the textile to Punava for processing and transformation.

  • The textile does not contain any unlawful, hazardous, prohibited, or dangerous material.

  • You understand that the textile will be cut, stitched, altered, modified, or otherwise processed as necessary to create the selected product.

  • The final product depends on the size, condition, construction, fabric, and usable portions of the textile received by Punava.

Due to the nature of the upcycling process, not every portion or feature of the original textile may be incorporated into the final product.

Unless specifically agreed with Punava before processing begins, Punava does not guarantee that unused portions, remnants, or original features of the submitted textile will be preserved or returned.

3. Nature of Upcycled Products

Punava products are created using pre-owned, previously used, or otherwise existing textiles.

Variations such as fading, marks, stitching, wear, texture differences, minor imperfections, color variation, and other characteristics may be present in the original textile and may remain visible in the finished product.

These characteristics are part of the nature and uniqueness of upcycled products and should not automatically be considered defects.

Because each textile is different, the finished product may not be identical to product images, examples, or previous creations shown on our website or social media channels.

4. Pickup and Delivery

Punava may use third-party delivery and logistics partners to:

  1. Pick up the customer's textile from the provided pickup address;

  2. Transport the textile to Punava;

  3. Collect the completed upcycled product from Punava; and

  4. Deliver the completed product to the customer's delivery address.

Pickup and delivery are therefore an integral part of certain Punava Services.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate pickup and delivery information and ensuring that the textile is appropriately packed and available for collection.

Punava is not responsible for delays caused by delivery partners, incorrect addresses, unsuccessful pickup or delivery attempts, weather, transportation disruptions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Additional charges may apply where additional pickup or delivery attempts, address changes, or other logistics services are required.

5. Orders and Customization

Orders placed through the website may involve customized or made-to-order services.

Once an order is placed, Punava may begin preparing materials, arranging logistics, processing the customer's textile, or commencing production.

Accordingly, cancellation is permitted only within the cancellation period specified in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

After the applicable cancellation period, an order may not be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded except where otherwise required by applicable law or where Punava expressly agrees to an appropriate resolution.

6. Product Images and Descriptions

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, illustrations, and examples displayed on our website accurately represent our Services and products.

However, because Punava works with upcycled and customer-provided textiles, the appearance of the final product may differ from photographs, examples, or representations shown online.

Differences in color, pattern placement, fabric texture, stitching, marks, fading, and other characteristics may occur.

7. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all content appearing on this website, including but not limited to:

  • Punava's name and logo;

  • Brand identity and visual elements;

  • Product names and descriptions;

  • Photographs and videos;

  • Graphics and illustrations;

  • Website design and layout;

  • Text, written content, and marketing materials; and

  • Original designs and creative concepts

are owned by Punava or used by Punava with appropriate rights and permissions.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, transmit, or commercially exploit any Punava content without our prior written permission.

The Punava name, logo, designs, product names, slogans, and other brand elements may not be used without our prior written consent.

8. Customer Content and Images

If you voluntarily provide photographs, reviews, testimonials, feedback, or other content to Punava, you confirm that you have the necessary rights to provide such content.

Where you separately provide consent for promotional use, Punava may use such content for marketing, advertising, social media, website, or other promotional purposes in accordance with that consent.

9. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on our website accurate and current.

However, information relating to products, Services, pricing, availability, processing times, delivery estimates, and other website content may change from time to time.

Punava reserves the right to correct errors, update information, modify Services, discontinue offerings, or make changes to website content without prior notice.

10. Third-Party Services

Punava may use third-party service providers, including payment processors, technology providers, logistics and delivery partners, and other service providers, to operate and provide the Services.

Your use of any third-party service may also be subject to that provider's own terms and policies.

Punava is not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, systems, or policies of third-party service providers except to the extent required by applicable law.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Punava shall not be responsible for losses, delays, or damages arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including third-party delivery delays, transportation disruptions, incorrect information provided by the customer, failed pickup or delivery attempts, or events outside our control.

Where customer-provided textiles are involved, customers acknowledge that such textiles may be unique, irreplaceable, sentimental, or otherwise difficult to replace.

Punava's responsibility in relation to customer-provided textiles shall be subject to applicable law and the specific circumstances of the case.

Nothing in this Legal Notice is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

12. Prohibited Use

You may use this website only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

  • Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful activities;

  • Misrepresent your identity or information;

  • Interfere with the operation or security of the website;

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems;

  • Copy or reproduce website content without permission;

  • Use our brand or intellectual property without authorization; or
